What Did You Think of the Live Problem Solving?!
I had 4 crazy screens going but I think you did well. I was impressed with all of you that stuck through the problem solving! Even when your answers weren't correct I saw some great thinking going on. I know some things I'd do differently next time and some things I'd like you to try. Remember not to submit your answer until the whole question is done ( scroll down too) and if you get it wrong go into show my work and try and show your corrections. I'm also not sure you all saw the messages I was sending you. You need to stay on the site until you get a message from me or a check mark. Some of you finished the first problem and left rather than tackling the next problems. We can chat more about this in next week's zoom meeting! In the meantime, share your ideas here!

Okay....if you want to learn about corn I will start with a corny poem:
There once was a little girl born, Who always wanted to eat corn, She inspired her peers To eat so many ears That their parents became forlorn! If poetry is not your thing you could also try this corny science activity. What a strange new world we have found ourselves living in. It makes us all realize just how much we took all those daily connections with each other for granted. I enjoy creating lessons for you and going over the work you are all doing BUT I really miss the great class discussions (aka work avoidance) and the silly jokes and humour that were part of our days. I even miss your hats! This is a space that we can all share with each other. Each comment made will be need to be approved by me but we can use this space to share with each other. You guys tell me....what would you like to talk about? What are you missing about school? |
